I spent an enjoyable week at the farm in Louisiana. The birds all seem to be busy gathering nesting materials. The hummingbirds are busy at the feeder. I sat on my back porch with my brother watching the wrens as they gathered and built their nests. I envy them. I had to leave and come back to Arkansas.

I learned how to work hard on the farm, but I also learned to enjoy the simple pleasures found in our everyday surroundings. I have a deep appreciation for family and nature. I was given my first little Kodak camera for Christmas when I was 17. I love photography and enhancing those photos by adding textures and verses using Photoshop and Topaz. I also enjoy painting and drawing when time permits. My husband is a fantastic artist, so I am blessed to have someone to share my love for art and photography with.
