Description
I can't remember ever seeing one of these birds at the farm in Louisiana. After researching it appears to be a flycather. I hope it likes mosquitos. They normally dwell mostly in the treetops and rarely is found on the ground. Several mornings I saw it perched on this birdhouse my brother made with nesting materials in its beak. I was never able to get close enough for a clearer photo but was happy to have a new neighbor.
